The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, made another important reform tergeting this time the educational sphere.

Sheikh stated that the educational level of Arab people is no longer satisfactory. Arab students can demonstrate better skills if they are provided with the necessary tools and means of modern educational system.

Sheikh has announced an e-learning project being itself an excellent opportunity for both  students and translators. Nearly 50 million schoolchildren and students will be able to gain knowledge in mathematics and other sciences. The videos are in English and they will be translated into Arabic. The videos will be presented to the students across the UAE. The whole material is consisting of 11 million words. Translators, teachers and other professionals will participate to this project in order to present the videos to the large auditorium. 

Though this project is a great opportunity for translators, it is primarily aimed at raising the educational level, especially in transferring knowledge of mathematics and other sciences. Only 14% of the Arab world is educated, thus the Sheikh's aim is to put in usage the e-learning as the fastest and effective system to increase the low educational level of Arab world.
