The 2017 was marked in the sphere of translation. The UN General Assembly declared September 30 International Translation Day.
The proposal to establish the International Translation Day was first made by the International Federation of Translators in 1991.In its 71st session, the UN General Assembly raised the first resolution of the translation devoted to the professional translation. In this issue, both translators and interpreters have had their own unique role in demonstrating high professional skills in maintaining cultural peculiarities in translation.
